Layer Cake Roll or Lapis Legit Gulung si cake from Indonesia, the cake is sweet and very delicious.
Ingredients:
75 g butter
75 g margarine
225 g egg yolks
115 g icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanili powder
10 g cake flour
5 g milk powder
How to make:
1. Preheat the oven to 160°C and grease a 22 x 22 x 4 cm baking pan with margarine and line with parchment paper.
2. Beat butter and margarine until pale and light. Set aside
3. Beat egg yolks, icing sugar and vanili until pale and thick.
4. Add sifted flour and milk powder to egg mixture, continue with butter mixture. Stir until well combined.
5. Spread 100 g batter to the pan, bake 3 minutes (used bottom heat) then switch to top heat, continue baking for 3 minutes until golden brown.
6. Spread again 100 g batter, bake for 7 minutes.
7. Repeat it until finish.
8. Turn out cake onto wire rack to moderate warm then roll it up.
